We recommend always checking with your vet first, but we've found our dogs really love the following veggies and fruit.
Carrots: we noticed they enjoy the crunch they provide, and they tend to like baby carrots more than a whole carrot. This makes it easy for them to snack on and can be used as treats.
Apples like carrots, they also provide a little bit of crunch. We recommend you cut them into smaller pieces and see if they enjoy them as much as you do. For an extra treat you could always add a little peanut butter to them yummm...
Celery: we've found this is a hit or miss. Dogs tend to love or hate them. I would recommend giving them a small piece first and seeing what happens.
Blueberries: like celery, they can be a hit or miss. They are great for your dogs because they provide antioxidants and are delicious as well so you can enjoy them together.
Green beans: all types of green beans are safe for dogs to eat, as long as they donโt have any type of seasoning. We recommend cutting them into small pieces so itโs easier for the to eat and use them as treats. If you are sharing them, I would recommend you cook them first ๐
I hope this gives you some ideas of healthy easy treats you can share with your dog.
Thanks for tuning into our updates and go enjoy some yummy snacks!
